When you have a nice set of cookware in your kitchen, you better make sure you are cleaning stainless steel pans properly or else you could ruin them. The best way of cleaning stainless steel pans is to use some warm water with some dish soap. However, sometimes you have some cooked on food that will make it quite difficult to only use warm water and soap. If you need to bring out the heavy solutions for cleaning stainless steel pans I would recommend you use some baking soda.

Sprinkle it onto the cooked on food and use some warm water so that you can make a paste. Rub the paste into the cooked on food and let it sit for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes continue rubbing the baking soda paste in a circular motion and use some hot water to rinse it away. Usually this should work, but if it doesn’t you can then follow up your efforts by boiling some vinegar in the pan.
